We all have those moments where we crave for something quick and sweet.
It may not be a scoop or two of Italian gelato or ice-cream because let’s be real, the calories are so intense.
Maybe we just want something small, but big enough, to satisfy our current cravings without going overboard with the sugar.
And that’s what macarons are made for – a tiny Parisian-style sweet with buttercream filling between two light and airy cookies that melts nicely in your mouth.
Having that said, we know you came here wondering where to buy the best macarons in Toronto.
Lucky for you, we love macarons just as much as you do, so we came up with the top macaron shops to visit.
We highly recommend trying all these macaron shops in Toronto if you haven’t already yet.

Here’s what one Yelp reviewer had to say about Charmain Sweets:
“Amazingly buttery & flakey croissants! I can’t seem to leave the parking lot without first eating one of their freshly baked croissants. I can’t get enough of them. Everything is delicious!
Aside from their croissants, I also love their egg bread, assorted cookies, macarons, and various sandwiches.
If you’re looking for a bargain, then this is not the place for you. They source high-quality ingredients to go into their baked goods.
From European style butter for their croissants and I’d imagine their other pastries, to high quality fine matcha for their match shortbread cookies, to free range chickens for their sandwiches.
It’s easy to see that the owners are passionate about what they do and that they care deeply about the quality of their products.”
