Brunch is probably one the best slang ever invented in the 21st century. For snooze-button peeps, breakfast is too early, while bacon, egg, and a cup of joe at lunchtime are pretty bizarre. Brunch, however, is the realist morning-ish meal, especially if you are served with coffee, pancake, and the aforementioned bacon and eggs.
Brunch is great for several reasons. It’s a good excuse for day drinking and the best way to spend time with friends to gossip about the Academy Awards. Nope, we’re not referring to the Will Smith x Chris Rock slapping incident. That’s so 2022. How about J.Lo looking 10 – 15 years younger than her actual age?
Whatever your reason for wanting to eat out for brunch, make sure you start your day at a place serving great food. And if you are still trying to figure out where that place is, fasten your seatbelt as we are about to teleport to the multiverse of the best brunch spots in Mississauga.

1. Bobby’s Hideaway
Address: 20 Queen St N, Mississauga, ON L5N 1A1 (+more locations)
Website: http://www.bobbyshideaway.com/
This restaurant in Streetsville is excellent any time of day, but brunch here feels like a beautiful blend of McDonald’s and Tim Horton’s. The menu is a perfect mix of American restaurants and Canadian coffee chains.
Foodies love to come here and for good reasons. The dining room is spacious and features a classic and sophisticated interior which reminds us of Monica and Chandler’s House in Friends. So, if you’re craving a homey vibe and a homemade-style late-morning meal, this is the perfect place to be.
The locals’ favourite here is the pancakes, but if you have a long day ahead, we recommend trying their specials. You’ll get one full meal paired with your choice of coffee or tea.
2. Skyway Jack’s Breakfast & Lunch
Address: 6461 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5N 1A6
Website: Not available
You’re reading this guide because you can’t resist Egg Benedict, Bacon & Egg, Poached Egg, or any brunch meal with eggs. If that’s indeed the case, it’s a must that you head on to Skyway Jack’s and try theirs.
For a restaurant that has breakfast and lunch in their name, you already know at what time they are usually packed. Unfortunately, this popular spot doesn’t take reservations, and there’s usually a long line of customers during the morning hours.
If you’re eager to dine here, it’s best to arrive as early as possible; otherwise, you may find yourself waiting in line. However, once you’re seated at a table, the service is quick, and the food is served hot and fresh.
3. Orchard Family Restaurant
Address: 2550 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 4A2
Website: https://www.orchardfamilyrestaurant.com/
Serving great food for over 50 years, the Orchard Family Restaurant is the type of restaurant your family keeps returning to for decades. The owner treats you like you’re still in high school, even though you’ve been working for a while now, which creates a sense of comfort that you need on a day off from work.
At this massive eatery, anything from their “Famous Combo Plates” should be your default pick if you are undecided about what to order from their menu. Sit in their spacious, well-lit dining room or reserve a seat on their patio if the sun is shining. This place is a solid option when you need to eat with a group in the Cooksville area.
4. Panagio’s All Day Grill
Address: 6085 Creditview Rd Unit 17 & 18, Mississauga, ON L5V 2A8 (+more locations)
Website: Not available
According to leading scientists, when you’re having an existential crisis, brunch is better spent alone, with a huge meal, just thinking whether the version of yourself in the parallel universe is better than what you have on earth.
Well, not completely alone, though, but the type of alone where you only think about yourself while enjoying a “Big Breakfast,” which contains an omelet, French toast, hotdogs, and eggs. This is our kind of alone. Every time we want to seek this solace, we go straight to Panagio’s.
This diner in the East Credit area is a straightforward, low-key, low-cost affair full of generosity and, most of all, no judgment.
5. Huevos Gourmet
Address: 241 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, ON L5G 1G8
Website: Not available
“So, even though you have broken my heart yet again, I wanted to say, in another life, I would have really liked just doing laundry and taxes with you.”
Sounds familiar?
We are still not over with Ke Huy Quan winning the Oscar, but what we are trying to say here is that once you find your own Waymond, the best brunch is best spent with the love of your life.
We know it’s cheesy, but if you really want cheesy stuff, nothing compares to the variations of breakfast meals with cheese at Huevos Gourmet. Yes, you read it right. From Quesadillas to burritos to sandwiches, they all come with cheese.
This Mexican restaurant has everything you would crave after waking up. However, you must bear in mind that not trying their Huevos Rancheros would just be disrespectful. It’s their specialty!
6. Eggstatic
Address: 5019 Spectrum Way, Mississauga, ON L4W 0E3 (+more locations)
Website: https://eggstatic.ca/home
If you ask the people behind the counter what the restaurant’s specialty is, they probably won’t stare at you as if you’ve committed arson. We’re kidding, of course. The servers at Eggstatic are welcoming and enthusiastic. And no, the establishment doesn’t only serve meals with eggs.
The menu covers all your breakfast classics. You can start with Halumi Tuscan Bread as an appetizer, or try the Falafel Tahini Salad if you’re vegan. Feeling fancy? Then go for the yummy Smoked Salmon Croissant.
Pro Tip: We recommend you enjoy your food on their patio, especially during day time when the weather is fine. It’s peaceful, quiet, and not clubby – plus, it’s full of people who want it that way.
7. Pur & Simple
Address: 6045 Mavis Rd, Mississauga, ON L5R 4G6 (+more locations)
Website: https://pursimple.com/
You will feel a little better when you get through the door of Pur & Simple. There’s just something about their bohemian-like interior and the wood and white colour scheme. It feels like you are being transported inside a Sunday morning cartoon. Either way, this is a perfect restaurant to eat peacefully and healthily.
Pur & Simple is the brunch spot to visit if you want a nutritious and gluten-friendly menu. However, they are not a gluten-free or vegan restaurant, as most of their meals are meat-based. Their menu is a reminder, though, that being healthy doesn’t require limiting yourself to kale salad and cucumber juice.
But if you insist, they offer healthier options like avocado toast, veggie salad, and fruit smoothies.
8. Buka Maranga
Address: 6465 Millcreek Dr, Mississauga, ON L5N 5R3
Website: https://www.bukamaranga.ca/
After visiting just once, you’ll never forget Buka Maranga, the bagel shop that has been open for years. Unlike Jobu Tupaki’s everything bagel that can destroy you and the multiverse, Buka Maranga’s bagels will complete your day.
For better or for worse, Buka Maranga will become your go-to bagel destination for brunch. Their bagels have a unique caramelized texture, extra fluffy inside, and are more vegan-friendly than most of their Sauga counterparts.
Open from 8 am to 8 pm from Monday to Saturday, this café serves up more than just bagels. You can also enjoy vegetable salads, sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies. But let’s be real, their straightforward bagels are the reason why customers line up from morning until noon.
9. Daylight Grill
Address: 980 Southdown Rd, Mississauga, ON L5J 2Y4
Website: https://daylightgrill.ca/
During the pandemic, Daylight Grill was only available on Uber Eats, making our first in-person dining experience at the restaurant all the more exhilarating. We were bursting with excitement, akin to the feeling when Brendan Fraser finally graces the big screen after a long hiatus.
Renowned as the go-to brunch spot in the Clarkson area, Daylight Grill is bustling with activity on weekends. If you plan to visit on weekdays (when they’re not as busy), note that they close at 3 pm.
From the moment you step through the door, Daylight Grill’s hospitality is unrivaled. The servers greet you with warm welcomes and offer expert recommendations from their menu of mouthwatering dishes, including crispy bacon, Belgian waffles, omelets, and more.
10. Sunset Grill
Address: 2901 Eglinton Ave W, Mississauga, ON L5M 6J3 (+more locations)
Website: https://sunsetgrill.ca/
Are you the kind of person who loves to live in the moment and follow their breakfast cravings wherever they lead? Look no further than Sunset Grill’s all-day breakfast! No need to plan ahead, just satisfy your appetite whenever the mood strikes with their delicious breakfast options available all day long.
It is easy to dine here with just about anyone, from parents to in-laws or your friends and their babies. Once you take a seat, you will realize that the place is an ideal place to spend a few hours on a lazy weekend catching up.
The hardest part of dining here for brunch is deciding which food to order. They have a massive menu full of pancakes, waffles, burgers, sandwiches, and even kiddie meals. But if you ask us for recommendations, we usually settle with the Three Eggs with Sausages and hot coffee. Don’t worry, though. You can never go wrong, no matter what you get.
