Sure, you can cook ramen for around 3 to 5 minutes, but nothing beats slurping a warm broth that takes a couple of hours or even days to make. Outside of funny memes and a box of kittens, there are few combinations more satisfying than noodles and soup. They are delicious, nourishing, and some can even cure your extreme hangover or work-induced stress.
More ramen shops seem to be popping up in Mississauga these days, but not all of them may satisfy your growling tummy or erase the regret of that extra slice of pizza last night.
We can tell you where to go for whatever you want to cure – whether it be a headache, heartache, or craving a warm and soothing soup. So ditch that bland instant ramen hiding in your pantry and come join the fun at these popular spots where you can slurp up a bowl of exceptional ramen that’ll blow your mind.

1. Kamen Ramen
Address: 720 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5C 3G1
Website: https://www.ramenkamen.com/
If there’s one food that can soothe stress and distract the mind from its worries, it’s none other than the ramen at Kamen Ramen. If you see a long line at the counter, it’s likely because customers are clamoring for their spicy ramen variations.
Formerly known as Kenzo Ramen, Kamen Ramen offers soapy ramen that is satisfyingly delicious. The super milky broth is made with pork bones and will transport you to flavour heaven. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the Roasted Garlic Spicy Ramen for an extra kick.
It’s for you to find out why, but the dish is a 4 out of 5. We didn’t give 5 because this is not the type of meal that you would want for a round 2 when your head is pounding because of a hangover. We recommend you get a scoop of ice cream to finish the meal.
And yes, they can deliver to your bed (although it’s not as good).
2. Kinton Ramen
Address: 4026 Confederation Pkwy, Mississauga, ON L5B 0G4 (+more locations)
Website: https://www.kintonramen.com/
Anyone who used to date at Kinton Ramen since its establishment in 2012 probably has kids by now. Though the lives of their regular customers may have changed, this restaurant remains a beloved fixture. There’s always a steady flow of customers eager to slurp up their delicious ramen, even if it means dining shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers.
So, if you’re looking to catch up with friends and dish on the latest celebrity gossip (Justin x Hailey x Selena, anyone?), you might want to reconsider. No one else will care, as your friends will be too busy savouring the addictive Pork Miso Ramen with a cold beer.
Kinton Ramen is unpretentious, straightforward, and cozy. Their extensive selection of ramen and sake specials is perhaps our favourite part of the menu. And if it’s your first time here, don’t leave without trying one of their delightful desserts – we highly recommend the matcha cheesecake.
Time and time again, Kinton Ramen never ceases to amaze me with their remarkable consistency in delivering top-notch ramen. Whether it’s my first visit or my hundredth, each bowl arrives steaming hot, packed with authentic flavors that never seem to wane. Read our honest Kinton review to find out more!
3. Sansotei Ramen
Address: 100 City Centre Dr Unit 2 – 817, Mississauga, ON L5B 2C9 (+more locations)
Website: https://www.sansotei.com/
Japanese food, hot or cold, good or bad, is widely available in Mississauga. However, Sansotei Ramen is one of the handful, always reliable, and legitimately excellent ramen spots in the city. The Tonkotsu Black ramen (and even the regular Tonkatsu ramen) coming straight from the kitchen is top-notch, with tender and flavourful chashu.
The combination of sour and spicy flavours, the well-seasoned meat, and the bouncy noodles will make your taste buds gasp. It is the type of ramen that will appeal to the coldest and warmest of souls. The addition of flavourful garlic oil elevates the dish by adding a splendid roasted note to the broth.
We overheard the table beside us ask their friend: “How was it?” The friend answered: “It was the bomb!” We agree.
4. Meet Noodles
Address: 1900 Fowler Dr D103, Mississauga, ON L5K 0A1
Website: Not Available
Do you find it satisfying sitting in an infrared sauna with 1 liter of water after working straight for a week? We feel you. Sadly, we sometimes don’t have access to that sauna. Instead, we head to a noodle shop like Meet Noodles and eat warm ramen: an equally sweat-inducing food version of a sauna.
We already have told you about this, but we will reiterate it in case you forget. We are obsessed with their Pork Belly Noodles. To say that it is satisfyingly delicious is an understatement. And if you need a perfect balance for your palate, pair your ramen with fried dumplings, something you can only discover at Chinese restaurants.
5. Hey Noodles
Address: 900 Rathburn Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5C 4L2 (+more locations)
Website: https://heynoodles.com/
Let us share a little anecdote with you.
At some point in our lives, Hey Noodles became our go-to spot for weekend brunch. We would stop by after a grocery run at an Asian supermarket (T&T), hoping for a cozy corner table. With a bowl of their steaming hot noodles in front of us, we’d feel like we hit the jackpot, as the savoury broth would satisfy our growling stomachs and lift our spirits.
So now, let’s focus on the restaurant. Hey Noodles has 6 locations in Toronto, and each branch features a compact dining room, making it the best place for dining with a small group or by yourself for a “me” time with a large bowl of steaming piping hot noodles.
The real show stealer in all branches is their Chongqing Noodles (well, at least for our taste buds), with or without broth, spicy or not, with toppings of your choice. You can customize your noodle of choice, but if you choose the spicy flavour, prepare for about 50 tissues when your nose starts running.
